This installation was created for the 2012 tenmoregirls group exhibition, tenmoregirls present Glory Box.

Artist statement

A Glory Box evokes thoughts of heirlooms passed between generations and hand-stitched textiles. For me, heirlooms aren’t really physical items but rather the intangible values from my family, all based in a childhood of security and opportunity.

I want to reflect that sense of home where one can feel safe and grounded, yet feel free to explore and develop. I want to show that infinite outcomes can be created from the same starting point; a little like life, or a relationship, which can be uniquely formed by our choices.
